MPH and Undergraduate Internship Opportunity

Under the direction of Principal Investigators Dr. Shira Goldenberg (PI), Co-PI Dr. Ietza Bojorquez (COLEF, Mexico), the research coordinator, and in collaboration with our binational research team and community partners (Al Otro Lado), the intern will support various aspects of data collection, analysis, management, interpretation, and dissemination. The intern’s work will focus on NIH-funded research on sexual and reproductive health, mental health, and health care access for migrant and asylum-seeking women at the Mexico-U.S. border. This internship includes opportunities to disseminate findings for both academic and non-academic audiences (e.g., academic papers, infographics, reports), including community partners. Opportunities are available for both qualitative and quantitative analyses. Binational applicants (English/Spanish) with experience working in Mexico may also have opportunities to participate in field research activities.
